Course: DELE Preparation in Salamanca
Spanish Courses Unamuno offers specifically designed Spanish courses in order to prepare students for exams to obtain the Diploma of Spanish as a foreign language (DELE). The DELE is an official title that certifies the degree of competence and mastery of the Spanish Language. This diploma is awarded by the Institute of Cervantes on behalf of the Spanish Ministry of Education.
These courses aim to prepare you to obtain an accreditation of the level that you correspond with (within the six established by the CEFR). In these courses, you will learn the techniques necessary to overcome each of the parts of the tests.
It is important to be aware of the level of Spanish for which you are going to prepare. If you are unsure or need to reinforce your level, we reccomend that you combine one of our DELE preparation courses with a standard general Spanish course.
Currently, our normal DELE preparation courses focus on DELE A2, DELE B1 and now, DELE A2/B2 for school children. But… don´t worry! If you have another level, you can contact our team and we will look for the solution that suits your particular situation.
We have prepared three DELE preparation programs designed for groups between 4 and 8 people for three of the most popular anual calls: May, July, and November. Our preparation courses differ acording to the schedule of teaching hours: DELE 10, DELE 20, DELE 30 (for more information click the link for DELE preparation in Salamanca on your right).
All of our courses are focused on analyzing and practicing the different tests of the DELE exams, according to the corresponding level. Therefore, practicing at home is very important: for the reading comprehension, written expression and interaction tests, the student performs the tasks under examination conditions in his home and then corrects and solves difficulties and doubts with our teachers in the classroom. The auditory comprehension and oral expression and interaction are both performed in the classroom under examination conditions.

Group preparation for the DELE exams
Levels A2, B1 and DELE school (A2/B1)
In our preparation courses for the DELE exams, we will address the different techniques aimed at overcoming the exams. These are the organized levels and the structure each of them follow:
DELE A2
The repertoire of linguistic contents can be included in this review and is collected in the curriculum plan of the Institute of Cervantes.
The structure of DELE A2 is the following:
Exam 1: Reading Comprehension.
Duration: 60 minutes.
Number of parts: 5
The exam consists of 5 pre-selected response tasks and small texts that accompany comprehension. These texts are authentic, but adapted to have grammantical strucures and vocabulary for the corresponding level.
Exam 2: Auditory Comprehension.
Duration: 35 minutes.
Number of parts: 5.
The exam consists of 5 pre-selected response tasks and small texts that accompany comprehension. The oral texts are authentic and recorded in a studio to simulate the actual language spoken.
These two tasts are presented in a single booklet. The answers are written on a seperate answer sheet.
Exam 3: Written Expresion and Interaction.
Duration: 50 minutes.
Number of parts: 3.
The candidate must write texts based on questions asked in the spaces provided for each task in the booklet.
Exam 4: Oral Expression and InteractionDuration: 15 minutes.
Number of parts: 4.
The candidate has 15 minutes of preparation before beginning parts 1,2, and 3, where you can takes notes and write a draft. There will be two examiners in the test room: one who acts as the interviewer and the other as a qualifier.

DELE B1

Exam 2: Listening Comprehension.
Duration: 40 minutes.
Number of parts: 5.

DELE A2/B1 for students: Only for calls in May and November!
These exames are geared towards students of Spanish between 11 and 17 years old (candidates aged 18 years and above should register for the general exams). They have been adapted to the specific environment, context, and situations of candidates in this age group.
The object of the DELE A2/B1 for students is to determine if your level of linguistic competence in the Spanish language corresponds to level A2 or level B1. The best thing about this test is that it is the only double-exit strategy. Candidates can get an A2 level or B1 level.
